My heart is heavy and burdened for our dear friends whom I mentioned in my previous post. As I have been praying for them this chapter from the Psalms keeps coming to my mind. My prayer is that they would keep their eyes lifted up to the Lord, for He is their help. I praise my Lord that He is their keeper, and the shade at their right hands; that He will keep them from all evil, that He will keep their life, and that He will keep their going out and coming forth from this time forth and forevermore.
Psalm 121
I will lift up my eyes to the hills, from whence shall my help come?
My help comes from the Lord, who made heaven and earth.
He will not allow your foot to slip or to be moved; He who keeps you will not slumber.
Behold, He who keeps Israel will neither slumber nor sleep.
The Lord is your keeper; the Lord is your shade on your right hand.
The sun shall not smite you by day, nor the moon by night.
The Lord will keep you from all evil. He will keep your life.
The Lord will keep your going out and your coming in from this time forth and forevermore.

This is such wonderful passage of scripture from the Psalms. I've turned to this one so many, many times... always it provides much comfort to me.
This is one of my favorite scriptures. I needed to see this today! So glad my help comes from the maker of heaven and earth!

This is a beautiful photo!
I beleive the Lord causes our hearts to dwell on certain parts of His Word for very real and specific reasons. May your heart be lightened by His peace! Happy WFW!

What a beautiful photo and powerful scripture to pray through and meditate upon. Still continuing to remember your friends in my prayers...God is greater than any need, any disease, any situation.
Thank you for sharing and allowing us to pray with you...

That Psalm is one of the first ones I memorized years ago when I was homeschooling Brandi. I would say it constantly and she even starting saying portions of it. The Lord has brought those verses up in my mind recently. So sweet to see that you have been praying them too.
Still praying for your friends,
Krista
