These happy hearts definitely were good medicine for my heart this past Saturday. After an exhausting week of dealing with children who were having a hard time obeying, this family time full of joy and laughter was just what I needed. This week has been much better! I am trying to keep my focus on Him rather on the things here. I am trying, as one prairie chick has taught me, to live in light of eternity...Make sure you spend some time in the Word of God, it also is medicine for your heart and brings healing where we need it. Ahhh.. Tricia.. what a great picture of the boys with their daddy! Just brought a smile to heart. I LOVE these kinds of pictures that show our bond as families... what wonderful memories that will bring to mind in the years to come!
Happy WFW!
Great verse and picture!
By the way the URL on the linky at 160 Acre Woods is going directly to your "my mission" post.
We have ALL had those kinds of weeks and sometimes it takes getting away from it....What a FABULOUS pic...I'd post it so that the next time a "trying" week ensues...you'll know EXACTLY what to do...grab that picnic basket!!
loved it...

Such a great picture and an incredible verse to go with it.
Wonderful post Tricia! If it's any consolation, those of us that have children have ALL been where you've been recently! Things will get better, either that or your patience gets better, I'm not sure which. hehe!! Blessings to you, and your family!
Those are some happy and contended faces! What a great photo, and what great memories your family will have of this day in the time to come. = )
